Track 1 inspired by [a=Mahmoud Ahmed]’s original song ‘Behmin Sebab Litlesh’.
Tracks 2, 5, 8, 9 are from the Carnatic repertoire, composed in Sanskrit and Telugu by the singer-saints [a1374402] and Dikshitar.
Track 11 is a Tiruvachakam, an earlier form of hymn to Shiva, written in Tamil.
Track 10 was originally sung by [a=Mukesh] in the 1960 Hindi film ‘Yehudi’.
Track 7 is a devotional song by the sixteenth century female mystic Meera.
